Man pushed onto Brooklyn subway tracks by at-large attacker

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man was pushed onto subway tracks in Brooklyn on Wednesday by another man who fled the scene and remains at large, police said.

The attack happened around 6 a.m. at the Rockaway Avenue A/C station in Bedford–Stuyvesant.

The victim was in some sort of dispute with his attacker when he was shoved onto the tracks, according to police.

He was able to climb back onto the platform without any serious injuries.

The suspect had fled by the time police arrived. The NYPD didn't immediately release a description of him.

The nature of the dispute wasn't immediately known.

WCBS-TV reported that the suspect was acting erratically and yelling before the shove.
