NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking to identify a man wanted for robbing a woman at a Queens subway station on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. on the mezzanine of the 179th Street 'F' line subway station when the suspect approached a 41-year-old woman who was attempting to add funds to her MetroCard, officials said.
The suspect grabbed $10 and a MetroCard out of the woman's hand and fled on foot, authorities said.
No injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned man, approximately 40-50 years old, 6'0" tall, 200 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt with a gray vest over it, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
