VIDEO: Cops seek this man who struck 2 others in the head with a rock on F train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released video surveillance Thursday of a man sought for striking two men in the head with a rock aboard an F train in Brooklyn.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 14, at approximately 6:40 a.m. on the northbound "F" train at the Smith Street and President Street subway station in Carroll Gardens.


Police said the suspect approached a 35-year-old man and began an unprovoked verbal dispute with him.

The suspect then took out a rock and struck the victim in the head and also struck a 52-year-old man victim on the head that was sitting on the train, authorities said.

The suspect exited the train at Carroll Street to parts unknown.

The 35-year-old victim suffered bruising on the head and knee and was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Methodist in stable condition.

The 52-year-old victim was treated by EMS at the scene.

Officials described the suspects as a dark-skinned man, approximately mid 40's, 6'2" tall, 160 lbs, medium build. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, black sweatpants, light-colored sneakers, a black baseball hat, and carrying a black bookbag.
