NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly threw a baby crib at a 90-year-old woman in Brooklyn, sending her to the hospital.
The victim was walking at 501 Brighton Beach Ave. in Brighton Beach around 9:45 a.m. Monday when the man randomly attacked her, according to police.
He allegedly picked up the baby crib from a garbage bin and tossed it at her. The furniture struck her and knocked her to the ground, police said.
The suspect fled before EMS arrived and transported the victim to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition.
