NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Wednesday of a man suspected of pushing a subway rider onto the tracks at an A line station in Upper Manhattan last weekend.
The 35-year-old victim was at the Dyckman Street station in Inwood around 3:45 p.m. Saturday when his attacker “engaged him in a conversation,” police said.
According to reports, the victim intervened as the suspect was arguing with a woman at the station.
When he walked away, the suspect allegedly pushed him onto the downtown tracks and fled on foot.
The victim pulled himself back onto the platform before any train arrived. He suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in stable condition.
