Man wanted for throwing shopping cart onto tracks at Brooklyn subway station: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released a photo on Monday of a man they are looking to identify who is accused of shoving a shopping car onto the tracks of a Brooklyn subway station earlier this month, authorities said.

At approximately 11 p.m. on Friday, February 4, the suspect was inside of the Lafayette Avenue A/C subway station in Clinton Hill when he pushed a shopping cart onto the southbound trackbed.

The cart was struck by a southbound A train as it entered the station.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 6'0" tall. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.
