NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – An accidental stroller bump led to an alleged hate-fueled outburst in Brooklyn last week, sources said Monday as police released images of a suspect.

The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the confrontation last Monday afternoon on the border of Bath Beach and Bensonhurst.

Police said the two victims—a 25-year-old man and 19-year-old woman—were pushing a stroller at 86th Street and Bay 28th Street around 1:45 p.m. when they accidentally bumped a woman with the stroller.

The woman responded by making "anti-ethnic remarks" and pushing the stroller, according to cops.

Sources said the woman called the victims "terrorists" and "ISIS."

The victims were not physically injured, police said.

The suspect is believed to be between 35 and 40 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
