NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The New York Mets will celebrate the seventh annual Pride Night at Citi Field on Friday ahead of the game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The match starts at 7:10 p.m., but gates will open to all fans at 5:10 p.m. for pre-game programming celebrating LGBTQ New Yorkers.

All attendees will receive a Mets Pride hand fan and those who purchase tickets in advance will get a Mets Pride hat.

The team said $5 from each ticket will go to the LGBT Network, a non-profit the Mets have partnered with every year since starting the tradition in 2016.

Matt Rogers, comedian and co-host of the podcast "Las Culturistas," will throw the first pitch. Jan Sport, a drag queen who has featured in multiple seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” will sing the national anthem.

During the seventh inning stretch, country singer Bryan Ruby will perform “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.” Ruby is one of the founders of Proud to Be in Baseball, a non-profit organization that advocates for LGBTQ baseball players.
