NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An MTA conductor was arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly using a fake EMT placard on his vehicle to park for free, authorities said.

The conductor, 38-year-old Harry Gomez, was caught in front of 100 Church Street around 2:30 p.m. where a 311 call was made that led to his arrest, police said. Gomez was off duty at the time of the incident.
Video of the incident obtained by the New York Post shows Gomez being handcuffed and led away wearing a New York City Transit jacket. His vehicle, a navy blue sedan, was towed away.
Gomez was taken to NYPD’s 1st Precinct where he was charged with criminal impersonation of a public servant and violation of local law, officials said.
According to the Post, an MTA spokesperson said Gomez has been suspended pending an investigation.
