NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The Northeast Corridor Line rail service has partly resumed as firefighters continue to battle brush fires in New Jersey.
The "limited service" is running between New York Penn and MetroPark, NJ Transit officials announced.
The agency is advising customers to seek alternate transportation in the meantime.
NJ Transit said the Morris and Essex, Montclair Boonton (Mid-town Direct) and North Jersey Coastline will continue to operate.
Rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by PATH at Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street.
Amtrak said its service is suspended between New York Penn Station and Philadelphia.
