NEW YORK (1010 WINS) —  The body of a Queens lawyer, found dead inside of an office on Thursday morning, is reportedly being investigated as a homicide.

Charles Zoloft, 65, was found unconscious inside of the 37-06 82nd Ave. building in Jackson Heights at around 5:50 a.m, the NYPD said.

Officers responded and found the victim unresponsive, laying on his back with trauma to his torso and face and later pronounced dead, police said.

Another tenant inside the building told the New York Post that the victim is a lawyer who had been recently threatened by two clients.

"Some clients of his threatened him and then they came back and did the deed last night," the source, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Post.

Police are reportedly investigating whether Zoloft's death is a homicide, the paper reports.

"The maintenance guy told me he came in this morning and saw a pool of blood and followed it and that's when he found his body beaten to death," said Horacio Navas, according to the New York Daily News.

Citizen App video shows a police presence outside of the building.

The city's medical examiner will determine his cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
