NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for an 88-year-old man from Brooklyn who went missing after he got on a subway train on Wednesday.
Vladimir Shvartser, of Brighton Beach, was last seen riding a northbound Q train at the Avenue M subway station in Midwood on Wednesday, police said.
He is 5-foot-4, weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a grey shirt, grey shorts and grey sandals, the NYPD said.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
