NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 25-year-old gang member has reportedly been tabbed as a person of interest in the death of a woman found inside a plastic barrel in New Jersey last week that was transported from a Wall Street building.
The man is part of the SNOW street gang in Queens, and was seen meeting Nicole Flanagan, 42, in the Financial District of Manhattan on Aug. 6, sources told the New York Post.
The 42-year-old woman's body was found inside the barrel on a street in Ridgefield Park on Aug. 13, New Jersey police and NYPD sources said to the Post.
The Post reported that someone dumped the barrel onto the street from a U-Haul van.
The last time Flanagan was seen alive was on surveillance video inside an apartment building at 95 Wall St. with the person of interest, sources say.
Five days later on Aug. 11, that man reportedly arrived at the building and walked in while carrying a "large plastic barrel." When questioned by security, he said he was using the barrel to move out, according to sources.
The Post reports that the U-Haul arrived in Manhattan Aug. 12, driven by someone unidentified. After the van arrived at the building on Wall Street, the person of interest met the driver, went to the 22nd floor and rolled the barrel out.
Flanagan's body was reportedly found inside a plastic drum in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey after residents phoned police for its foul odor.
Sources said a medical examiner ordered a toxicology report after finding no signs of injury to the body.
