BROOKLYN HOME INVASION: Robbers zip-tie and beat victims while stealing designer bags, watches

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A cadre of thieves burst into a Brooklyn home early Thursday morning and zip-tied three people, beating two of them before making off with designer goods, police said.

The home invasion unfolded around 4 a.m. on 80th Street, between 19th and 20th avenues, in Dyker Heights, according to the NYPD.

Four suspects smashed a front window and entered the home, where they zip-tied two men and a woman, police said.

They also assaulted the two men, pistol-whipping a 34-year-old and punching a 41-year-old in the face.

The group fled the home with designer bags, watches and cash, police said.

They were last seen driving away in a dark-colored minivan.

The injured men were transported to Maimonides Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. The woman was injured.
