NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rogers Clemens, who won two World Series with the Yankees and spent six seasons with the team, took aim Wednesday at anti-Trumpers who have claimed they will move from the U.S. to another country if Donald Trump is elected to the White House.

"Who ever said 'I’m leaving America if Trump wins' … don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out," Clemens, a seven-time Cy Young winning pitcher posted on X, along with an American flag emoji.

Earlier in the day, Clemens, 62, wrote on X, "USA! USA! 47, @realDonaldTrump… This is massive for our great country! incredible job @elonmusk and @JDVance but I’m most proud of the people. We did it! #RedWave2024."

The Ohio-born All-Star pitcher has been encouraged himself to enter the political arena: In 2019, he was encouraged to run for Congress as a Republican in his home state of Texas.

Clemens previously said that he stands for country over party: "I am a Republican and I support our President and will continue to do so," he said, referring to Democrat Joe Biden. "No matter who our President may be, I will continue my support of the, and root for them to be successful, just as I did when President Obama was in office."
