NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 49-year-old man was killed after he was struck while riding a scooter in Brooklyn on Friday afternoon.
Police said a Mercedes-Benz was traveling along Avenue L and East 17th Street in Midwood when it struck the man.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The 53-year-old driver remained at the scene of the crash and was also hospitalized for minor injuries. Two teens inside the car also suffered minor injuries, police said.
No arrests have been made at this time.
