NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Shake Shack is offering a bit of relief as New Yorkers adjust to the newly implemented congestion pricing tolls.
The popular burger chain announced its "Congestion Pricing Relief Zone," featuring a special $9 combo deal to help ease the transition for commuters and drivers across New York City.
From Jan. 13 through Jan. 17, participating Shake Shack locations in New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut will offer the combo meal.
Congestion Pricing Combo, which includes a ShackBurger and fries for just $9. The deal is available for qualifying orders placed in person via kiosks, as well as for pick-up or delivery through the Shake Shack Mobile App or shakeshack.com.
"Whether you’re braving the new tolls or taking trains to dodge them, we’re making it easier for New Yorkers to adjust to this change without losing their appetite," the Shake Shack statement read.
