Cops searching for shooter who opened fire on man in car near Central Park

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who shot a 31-year-old man in his parked car a block away from Central Park on Monday.

The unidentified man approached the victim around 4:15 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and 65th Street and started arguing with him, officials said.

The suspect pulled a gun and shot the victim once in the torso before fleeing into a dark four door sedan and speeding off, according to authorities.

EMS rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
