NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A teenage girl was punched in the face near Times Square last week during an unprovoked morning attack, authorities said.
The 17-year-old victim was on the corner of 8th Avenue and 40th Street around 10:25 a.m. on Oct. 5 when a man came up to her and punched her in the nose, police said.
The girl was left with a broken nose and bruising in her left eye. She was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

After attacking the girl, the man fled the scene. He is described as having a light skin complexion, approximately in his 30s, 5'5" tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a long blonde wig with a black hat, beige coat, black dress, white and black sneakers and a red face mask.
