NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for targeting seniors at a Brooklyn supermarket last month and stealing their wallets.
The first incident happened at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, when an 80-year-old woman was inside a Food Town supermarket located at 9105 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge.
The suspect removed her wallet containing credit cards and approximately $200 from inside her purse while food shopping, authorities said.
On Friday, October 15, at approximately 3 p.m., a 73-year-old woman was
inside the same Food Town, when she was approached by two suspects who asked her for directions.

Officials said one of the suspects removed the victim's wallet out of her handbag. The wallet contained a credit card, keys, and approximately $600.
The third incident happened at approximately 12. p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, when an 89-year-old woman was inside the Food town.
The suspect removed her pocketbook which contained credit cards and approximately $26 from her walker while food shopping.
There were no injuries reported as a result of any incidents.
Police describe the suspect as being light-skinned, with black hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black pants, brown and black boots, light-colored hat, black face mask, and seen carrying a light-colored bag and seen with the victim's brown purse and exiting the store.
