2 thieves shove woman, 72, to ground, steal purse at gunpoint: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities are looking for two attackers who allegedly shoved an elderly woman to the ground in Brooklyn last month and stole her purse.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Dec. 7 in front of an apartment building on 23rd Avenue in the Gravesend neighborhood.

Police said a 72-year-old woman was approached by two unknown individuals who shoved her to the ground suddenly.

While she was down, the two forcibly removed her purse while at least one of them displayed a firearm.

The attackers fled on foot and the victim refused medical attention.

Authorities released a photo of one suspect Wednesday, showing a man wearing all black clothing, black and white sneakers and a black hat.
