NEW VIDEO: Trio sought in violent attack of off-duty officer after dispute in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released a new video on Tuesday of three men they are looking to identify for allegedly attacking an off-duty NYPD officer following a dispute in the Bronx on Monday.

The attack happened just before noon in front of 1318 Lafayette Avenue in Hunts Point when the 33-year-old victim became involved in a verbal dispute with the three unidentified men, police said.

The dispute escalated and one of the suspects struck the victim with a blue wooden stick, according to the NYPD.

The suspects then punched the victim in his face and upper body, officials said.

The victim suffered pain to his head, back and knees.

He was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi in stable condition.

The attackers fled on foot.
