Trio steals $225K in jewelry from NYC jewelry show

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a jewelry show display last month, police said Wednesday.

The trio, two men and a woman, were at the Metro Pavilion at 125 West 18th St. in Chelsea on Oct. 26 around 11 a.m. where the heist happened, authorities said.

Once inside, the group stole about 120 pieces of jewelry from a display before fleeing the scene. Officials said the value of the stolen jewelry is about $225,000.

Cops said the suspects they are searching are between 35 and 45-years-old.
