NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released surveillance video of a Nissan Wednesday as they continue their search for the shooter whose bullet grazed a 5-year-old girl in Brooklyn this week.
The girl was playing near the intersection of New Lots and Montauk avenues in East New York around 5:45 p.m. Monday when a bullet grazed her head, according to police.
The girl was taken in stable condition to an area hospital, where she was treated and eventually released.

New video from the NYPD shows the Nissan sedan police are searching for in the shooting.
Police said a person got out of the Nissan at Dumont and Montauk avenues and shot at a man but instead struck the girl.
The shooter then fled westbound in the Nissan down New Lots Avenue, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
