NYPD Officer Darren Mays was spotted using a vacuum to remove the swarm from a planter area at the Crossroads of the World on Tuesday.
“Officer Mays from NYPD Bees swiftly responded to a swarm of bees in Times Square today, and gently removed approximately 25,000 bees from the location before transporting them to a safe location,” the NYPD tweeted.
