NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released video footage Friday after a 38-year-old man was severely burned when a woman allegedly poured hot cooking oil on him in Brooklyn last month.
It happened at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, near the intersection of East 94th Street and Winthrop Street in East Flatbush, police said.
The victim suffered severe burn and skin damage to his chest, arms, and legs. EMS rushed the man to Staten Island University North Campus in critical but stable condition.
The woman immediately fled the location on foot and remains at large.
The relationship between the victim and the alleged assailant is currently unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
