NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a trash can at a parking lot for Plumb Beach in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.
The grisly discovery was made around 3 p.m. at a beach parking lot off the Belt Parkway, east of Knapp Street.
EMS pronounced her dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
Police said her identity is being withheld pending the notification of her family.
The NYPD investigated at the scene into Wednesday night. No arrests have been reported.
