NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A passenger died last week after a metal object struck the car he was in on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to police.
Troopers responded to a car accident on March 7 at around 1:20 p.m.
The car, a Toyota, was traveling on the New Jersey Turnpike north, near milepost 67 in East Windsor Township, Mercer County, when a metal object struck the front hood and windshield of the car, New Jersey State police said.
The passenger, Steven Bradshaw, 39, of Audubon, was hit by the metal object and died due to his injuries.
No other injuries were reported, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
