LI couple arrested for possessing over $1M in counterfeit high-end merchandise

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A Long Island couple was arrested for possessing more than $1,000,000 in counterfeit high-end accessories, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced Wednesday.

Jennifer Wolters, 43, and Phillip Gallo, 47, both of Patchogue, were arrested and arraigned on Tuesday for trademark counterfeiting for possessing counterfeit high-end accessories.

According to the investigation, on June 7, during the execution of a search warrant at both Wolters’ and Gallo’s Patchogue home and Holbrook office, authorities allegedly seized counterfeit merchandise valued at over $1,000,000.

Wolters and Gallo were released from jail without bail and are both due back in court on July 17.
