After teasing the project since early 2021, Weezer have confirmed that the first of their four 2022 releases based on the seasons is coming on the day of the Spring Equinox, Sunday March 20th.
SZNZ: Spring is the first of the releases and the band will release its first single “A Little Bit of Love” on March 16th. Frontman Rivers Cuomo previously teased the release dates of each of the records:
"Spring is kind of like happy chill. And then we move through to dance rock, like a Strokes-style album for the fall, and then sad acoustic, Elliott Smith-style for winter." Cuomo said last summer.

The band ended their announcement by saying "Lots more coming soon, so mark your sundial for the coming solstices and equinoxes."
