Red Hot Chili Peppers
At the end of 2019, the Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that guitarist John Frusciante was returning to the band and a few years later it looks like we'll get to hear what they've been working on. The band has mapped out a massive world tour for summer 2022 and drummer Chad Smith confirmed this fall that the new record is "almost done". Cage The Elephant

Portugal. The Man
It has been nearly five years since Portugal. The Man dropped one of the biggest alternative hits of the 2010s with "Feel It Still" off of the critically-acclaimed Woodstock. PTM's Eric Howk and Zachary Carothers confirmed to Audacy this fall that a new album is coming, but that it's never fully done until the moment it's released.
