The Anderson County Sheriff's Office issued the following media release Sunday.
On June 20th at approximately 3:00 am, ACSO Deputies responded to an address on Abbeville Highway near Eddies Minute Mart in Anderson in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males that had been shot at least one time. EMS personnel responded and transported the victims to the hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
During the initial investigation it was learned that a third person was shot during this incident. They were also taken to the hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.
Detectives and Forensic personnel responded and their investigation is ongoing.
At this time there’s no threat to the public and we believe this is an isolated incident.
UPDATE
The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the victims as 30-year-old Tevin Jerian Telford of Anderson and 27-year-old Shane Michael Ware of Belton.
Both men died of gunshot wounds. The deaths have been ruled homicide.
