The J&J Show discussed the 2026 All-Star game and more on Thursday's show on 92.9 FM ESPN.
The Grizzlies battled in Denver but came up short in a 122–116 loss to the Nuggets on Wednesday night. Memphis stayed within striking distance throughout, ripping off multiple runs and never letting Denver get comfortable, but the Nuggets’ All-Stars made key plays down the stretch. Nikola Jokić posted a triple-double with 26 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists, while Jamal Murray added 22 points to help Denver hold off the late Grizzlies push. GG Jackson led Memphis with 21 points.
Ty Jerome scored 19 and Jaylen Wells chipped in 17 in a spirited effort. Memphis trimmed double-digit leads and tied the game in the third, but couldn’t sustain it late.
