On Saturday in Salt Lake City, GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells each notched 20 points to propel the Memphis Grizzlies to a 92–80 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Summer League play. Jackson delivered a strong second-half boost, knocking down 8 of 15 shots (including 3 from long range), and chipped in three rebounds in 28 minutes of action.

Wells opened the scoring floodgates early, tallying 12 first-half points and finishing 5-for-14 from the floor with a perfect 7-for-7 from the line, along with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Their combined 40 points proved too much for OKC to handle, despite a game-high 24-point effort from Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell. Memphis also received a well-rounded contribution from Cam Spencer (14 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal), helping secure an eight-point win.

Grizzly moves: Memphis traded 7‑foot‑1 center Jay  Huff to the Indiana Pacers, acquiring a second‑round pick and a 2031 second‑round pick swap in return. Huff averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, nearly one block, and shot 40.5% from three in 11.7 minutes over 64 games last season.

Minutes later, it was reported that Memphis signed former Rockets center Jock Landale, who logged 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11.9 minutes across 42 games with Houston the past two seasons. The moves bolster front‑court depth, especially with Zach Edey recovering from ankle surgery.
