Tigers Turn Up the Heat, Torch Charlotte 77–54

Memphis rode a balanced attack and stifling defense to a 23-point win over Charlotte, pulling away early with a 37-17 first-half lead before finishing 77-54. The Tigers shot 46% from the field compared to Charlotte’s 36.8%, and Memphis also held the rebounding edge (41–32) and turnover margin (10–16).

Aaron Bradshaw led Memphis with 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Julius Thedford posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. Thierno Sylla added 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Ashton Hardaway chipped in 10 points off the bench.

For Charlotte, Arden Conyers paced the 49ers with 14 points and Dezayne Mingo added 12. Memphis improves to 12–11 (7–4 American Athletic Conference) with the decisive conference victory.
