JUPITER, Fla. (KMOX) -- Cardinals manager Oli Marmol opened the door to lineup questions, so the assembled media on Thursday -- prior to the next day's Grapefruit League opener here -- took full advantage.

"We're going to put out our legit lineup, let those guys play together for a couple innings and go from there." Marmol said.
Who's the DH?
"(Lars) Nootbaar's DH'ing tomorrow," Marmol said.
Leadoff hitter?
"Eddie's (Tommy Edman) leading off tomorrow."
Is Paul DeJong the starting shortstop?
"DeJong's at short, yeah."
You can guess the rest: Paul Goldschmidt (1B), Tyler O'Neill (LF), Nolan Arenado (3B), Dylan Carlson (CF), Harrison Bader (CF) and Andrew Knizner (C), in no particular order. Knizner is in for the absent Yadier Molina, who informed the team he would have a delayed arrival to camp for personal reasons.
With Adam Wainwright already announced as the starting pitcher, Marmol added that Genesis Cabrera would get a look as one of the relievers out of the bullpen.
Jack Flaherty's camp continues to be on hold, as the Cardinals sought a second opinion to review imaging of his right shoulder. Flaherty had an initial exam of the shoulder on Tuesday.
The Cardinals, meanwhile, in a move first reported by Post-Dispatch writer Derrick Goold, signed free agent outfielder Corey Dickerson to a one-year, $5 million contract, pending the outcome of a physical. Dickerson's deal won't become official until then. The 32-year-old Dickerson was an All-Star in 2017 with the Tampa Bay Rays and won a Gold Glove in left field in 2018 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also hit .300 that season. Since then, he's moved to the Phillies, Marlins and Blue Jays.
Dickerson is expected to provide depth in the outfield and at DH.
