Last season the Falcons had one player go over 1,000 yards receiving, as Drake London ended up with 1,271 yards on 100 catches, but in 2025 the expectations is that at least two players, and possibly three or even four could top the 1,000 yard mark.
Darnell Mooney, while missing the final game of the season and suffering through a total passing downturn with Kirk Cousins' issues midseason, fell just 8 yards short and he could reach 1,000 yards, but the more interesting discussion is whether Bijan Robinson, along with rushing for 1,000 yards could also get to 1,000 yards receiving.
"I feel it's more likely that Bijan Robinson would have 1,000 yards receiving than Tyler Allgeier would have 1,000 yards rushing. I don't think it's crazy to think that Michael Penix is going to throw for 4,000 yards this year, a lot of those are going to be short passes. Bijan had 61 receptions last year, they're going to throw the ball to Bijan a lot of times," says Andy Bunker, co-host of the 92.9 the Game Midday Show. "The thing that's going to be the difference maker is he's going to break a couple. He never really did last year, on the ground or in the passing game, you didn't have those home runs, Bijan's going to have those."
