Kyle Pitts reportedly has a foot issue and according to Falcons Head Coach Raheem Morris, the team is being extremely cautious with him during OTA's. Pitts inability to perform during the past three seasons up to expectations has led Falcons fans to question his ability and missing OTA's isn't helping to settle that debate.
"I think you should be cautious with everyone right now because nothing you're doing really matters. The reason it's more of a talking point is because there's no benefit of the doubt," says 92.9 The Game Midday Host Andy Bunker. "If this were Drake London, of course they're being extremely cautious, but Kyle Pitts is in year five of a rookie deal, an extremely disappointing first four years, there's a lot more baggage with him not being out there for OTA's."
The Falcons picked up the fifth-year option for Kyle Pitts and that's what he will be playing under this coming season. It's certainly a make-or-break season in terms of his future with the Falcons, but also for what sort of contract he can command next offseason.
