Following their 24-14 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, the Atlanta Falcons answered several questions including being able to win “a big game” on the big stage and more importantly, as pertaining to last night’s win, stopping an MVP winning quarterback.

“I didn’t have any question that they were going to show up and play well, it was just a matter of whether you could control the defending MVP and not let him do some of the special and magic stuff that he normally does,” Atlanta Falcons Radio Network analyst and former Falcons quarterback, Dave Archer said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and shared thoughts on  the Monday night showdown.

“You were able to do that,” Archer continued as he noted the Falcons defense being able to answer the presumed challenge of slowing down Josh Allen. “You were able to take a lot of that away and it was fun to watch, it was fun to watch them frustrate him. I don’t know that I’ve seen Josh Allen that frustrated in a game since back maybe his first couple of years in the league,” Archer said.

As for Allen’s frustrations, Atlanta’s defense manufactured four sacks, six quarterback hits and nine pressures on Allen, who also threw two interceptions in the Bills loss to the Falcons. “I thought that Jeff Ulbrich threw a lot of stuff at him,” Archer said.
