Earlier today Atlanta Falcons Owner and Chairman, Arthur M. Blank, announced in a letter he wrote to the fans that Greg Beadles has been elevated from president to president and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons, effective today, succeeding Rich McKay, and The Morning Shift was live on air when the news broke and gave their live reactions to the news.

“Interesting, a lot to unpack there” Mike Johnson said

Beau Morgan talked about how this move makes Beadles the overseer of the Atlanta Falcons, and opens the door for a new President of Football Operations to be brought in, which is heavily rumored to be Matt Ryan.

This comes a day after Mr. Blank also announced that Head Coach Raheem Morris and General Manager Terry Fontenot have been dismissed from their roles following a meeting with him. With these moves the Falcons owner has made it clear that he believes the organization needs new leadership, a fresh start, and a culture change.

These moves have now kicked off what will be a very interesting offseason for the Atlanta Falcons.
