When it comes to the term, “getting your money’s worth,” the Atlanta Falcons may be an example of it in regards to drafting Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr. in this year’s NFL draft with the two rookies leading all rookies in sacks as Walker leads the way with five sacks and Pearce Jr. behind him with four sacks.

“I think all of us expected these two guys to come in and breath fire on the other team’s quarterbacks,” Atlanta Falcons Radio Network analyst and former Falcons quarterback, Dave Archer said on Tuesday as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell to share his thoughts on the impact Walker and Pearce Jr. have had for the Falcons defense.

“It’s taken a couple of games maybe to get into it, they certainly are doing that now,” Archer said of Walker and Pearce Jr.
and how they have contributed to the performance of the Falcons defense which ranks third in the NFL with 39 total sacks.
