On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons lived up to their team slogan, “Falcons Rise Up” as they defeated the Washington Commanders 34-27 to bounce back from their 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3. “They showed up, they bounced back and I will tell you, I feel really good about it.
You should too,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said on Monday as he and co-host Mike Bell discussed Atlanta’s win on Sunday.

“The good news is the Falcons’ offense showed some life,” Dukes continued as he and Bell discussed the Falcons finishing with 435 yards in total offense as Michael Penix Jr. completed 20 of 26 pass attempts for 313 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while Bijan Robinson became the first Atlanta Falcons running back with 175+ scrimmage yards since Devonta Freeman’s having 184 on December 18, 2017.

“You really couldn’t have asked for anything more,” Bell said, highlighting the performances of Penix Jr., Robinson and Kyle Pitts, who had five catches on five targets for 70 yards and one touchdown. “They reacted the right way Carl, they bounced back,” Bell added of the Falcons getting back in the win column on Sunday.
