Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith joined Dukes & Bell to preview the team’s first game of the season against the Eagles and what should we expect to see from the team’s fourth overall first round draft pick Kyle Pitts?
When asked what he expects from Kyle Pitts on Sunday and this season.
“Our expectations for him is we feel he’s ready to go, he’ll contribute,” Smith said. “I won’t give a prediction about number of catches, or yards or whatever fantasy points, I know that may disappoint a lot of your listeners but whatever we’re doing we’re trying to win the football game but we expect him to have an impact and we will bring him along.”
“A lot of it is perspective, if he doesn’t go out there and have four hundred yards the first game we’re going to be ok, as long as we win the game. As we bring him along at the end of the year, you look back and hope he’s had a big impact, ultimately help us win.”
