Learning a new offense is an adjustment for any player, but when it comes to new Atlanta Falcons Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson’s offense he explained why it will be harder for some players on the team to learn it than others, and The Morning Shift crew talked about what Robinson had to say.

“It’s like learning a foreign language, I mean it really is in some instances you look at like a Darnell Mooney and Charlie Woerner some of these guys that have come in that you know have already had banked years in the NFL and so those guys are able to make more sense of it Drake [London] is still a pretty young player and there’s a few things that maybe that was called the same but for the most part it’s entirely new and you know the one thing that always is gonna show up is you know guys they can hear it from us and we can talk about it in the film room all we want, but those guys gotta go out there and do it…” Robinson said.

Beau Morgan piggybacks off of Zac Robinson’s point about Drake London by talking about how this is the first time London is going to be in an offense that isn’t Arthur Smith’s.

“Drake London never has experienced that all he’s known is what Arthur Smith ran.”

Drake London, Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and other guys who have yet to learn multiple offenses still have plenty of time to learn Zac Robinson’s, but this does make you wonder if there’s going to be any sort of adjustment period for those guys to begin the season.
