As the 2025 Georgia High School Association flag football regular season winds down, the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans are playing their best football at the right time, having won their last eight games, not allowing their opponents to score in any of those contest.

"Their preparation all week has been great and so when we come out on the field it's kind of what we expect what the girls expect as well," GAC head coach, Josh Lee said following the Spartans wins over Mountain View and Norcross on Wednesday night, praising his players for their "hard work and dedication with film and practice time," to help with the success they have had this season.

"It's been fun to watch," Lee added of watching his team in their 33-0 win over Mountain View and 44-0 win over Norcross. "Coach Joiner does a great job with our defense. He has them prepared every week," Lee said of the Spartans extending their shutout win streak to eight games in a row. "He watches hours and hours of film and has the girls ready to go," Lee continued as he credit community coach, Thad Joiner, for how well he prepares the Spartans defensively.

"The girls are smart and they pick up, they know their keys, they do a really good job with that and they go out and execute," Lee said. The Spartans will return to action on Monday when they take on Collins Hill and then will close out the regular season the following Wednesday against Mill Creek.
