Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by Georgia Bulldogs Insider Radi Nabulsi, who talked about Kirby Smart’s statement about not naming a starting quarterback until game time against Arkansas in the opening week of SEC play on Saturday September 26.
“I think Kirby’s hand is going to be forced by the offensive line," said Nabulsi. "You do not have the same tackles that you did last year. You don’t have two of your best guards."
Nabulsi continued about who is the edge in the Georgia quarterback battle.
"You are going to have an offensive line that is going to take a while to gel, they didn’t get spring practice. If anyone of those guys misses an assignment and protection breaks down, who do you want to scramble out of there, J.T.
Daniels or D’Wan Mathis? Again he is one of the five fastest players on the team. I think you are going to have to go with D’Wan Mathis."
