Former Falcons and Georgia Bulldog Todd Gurley joined Dukes & Bell and talked about how he feels about NIL deals and if he has any regrets about being suspended for signing autographs during his time at UGA.
When asked if he wished NIL deals were around when he played for the Dawgs.
“No, not really, I did alright for myself,” Gurley said. “I try not to look at the could have been world, I enjoy watching the young guys get their money, just want them to be safe and learn the side of the business and hopefully that people have their best interest at heart.”
On if he has any regrets about being suspended for signing autographs while playing for Georgia.
“Nah, I knew what I was doing, obviously I knew the consequences for it and I paid for it. But you know the game has changed man, it’s crazy right, what eight years later or what six years later they’re able to do this stuff, I love it, I love it man.”
