PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins' general manager Jim Rutherford announced Wednesday that the Penguins have recalled forward Teddy Blueger from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Blueger, who is being called up on an emergency basis, was just sent back to the WBS on Monday. He scored three times and has four points in the nine games he has skated in with the Penguins this season.
Teddy is in his third full season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, is the team's leading goal scorer, and he is the second highest point scorer on the team.
