PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Pittsburgh Pirates players are buying lunch for employees at Allegheny General Hospital Monday.

93.7 The Fan’s Pirates Insider Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette reported says Slice on Broadway at PNC Park and Davide in the Strip District will deliver 300 pizzas to AGH from 11 a.m. though 1 p.m.
“We aren’t able to be up in Pittsburgh, but we wanted to let hospital workers on the front lines and local businesses that mean so much to our home city know that we’re thinking of them,” Jameson Taillon, one of the organizers said to Mackey. “It was a no brainer from the players’ side.”

The lunch was organized and paid for by the players.

Taillon also told Mackey that they are working to provide free coffee to local firehouses in the area.
