PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) What do you think is an outrageous price for a replica NFL jersey?

Would you say $100 or maybe $125 is too high?

Well, according to a new study, replica Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys run at the most expensive in the entire NFL at $151.07.

That's nearly $10 more than the second team on the list in terms of jersey price, the Miami Dolphins who sit at $144.24.

The study by PicksWise, went in depth on how much it costs to be a fan of an NFL football team.

PicksWise looked into each of the 32 teams and calculated to cost of tickets, refreshments, and attire to see which team's fans spent the most money.

Overall the Steelers landed at 13th on the list, fairly average in a league setting, but the highest in the AFC North; The Baltimore Ravens were close behind at 16th, while the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals swam near or at the bottom of the list at 30th and 32nd respectively.

Between ticket sales, food at the games, attire, and travel accommodations, the average Steeler fan spends $3,056.80 each year.

When broken down into value of the spending, PicksWise slotted the Steelers were still 13th in that category.

To find the value, PicksWise took the total cost and divided it by the number of tuchdowns scored by the team.

The Steelers 50 touchdowns brought home a cost per touchdown number that sits at $61.14.
